Having a niggling problem with my 2.4 petrol cab (manual) NON TURBO. The problem only seems to happen in 3rd & 4th gears, when i hit the 3000 revs mark keep the pedal down the revs drop
. i thought the clutch was on its way out but i think the revs would go up if this was the case. A new maf is looking the best part of 135 quid. anyone know if this is the usual dodgy maf symptoms.
I stripped it out and blasted it with electrical contact cleaner and think it helped cheers
