Tonight I took off the pipe to my egr. It seems abit nippier. Is this to be expected? Should I expect better or worse mpg?

Yes, it should be a bit nippier, expect Mpg to increase in the summer but they will decrease with cold weather...

I've seen a few threads about this. Can ypi confirm that the main benefits are slightly improved acceleration and (temperature dependant) MPG? Any guides that you know of?

I have been wondering about this... Could you post a picture up of what pipe you removed, also did you need to blank off the egr?? Cheers. Andy

I've not blanked it off no, I might do if it seems better. I'm driving to le mans next week so it'll get a clean run now.

The pipe is just on top of the egr bud.
