7's are a little to narrow what wheels are you looking at ??

It's a set I just bought on eBay cheap. Is it too narrow and not safe? I'll be putting on my current tyres, 235/45/17

235 45 17 is normally fitted to a 7.5-9.0" rim
i wouldnt say dangerous just might look a bit over tyred .
