Immobiliser wiring location

Can anybody tell me if the the immobiliser wiring is routed beneath the bonnet release catch under steering wheel? I have a sneaky suspicion I might have disturbed it when fitting a new bonnet release catch.

its in the steering wheel cowl

There is an induction loop around the steering lock/ignition key area used by the immobiliser.

Not long after fixing the bonnet release catch my car cut out and steering lock came on at NSL! No repeat episodes yet, but no idea what caused it so I wondered if the wiring was routed that way

the immo will not make the steering lock come on
that only comes on when the key is out
immo wont cut the car out it will just make it not start
