Hi guys. Tried to retrofit DIS and it's a big splined bolt holding the wheel on. Any idea what size tool I need? Thanks

You need an "M12 Spline" bit - worth getting a set to remove many other items on the B6 like front seats etc. like this - Sealey AK219.
The Steering Wheel nut should be replaced if removed (Audi Part No. N 907 991 02) - according to the Workshop Manual - although you could clean off threads on the old one and apply some Loctite thread sealer. A new bolt has the sealant bonded to the end of a new thread.

Don't forget you can always show your gratitude for a helpful post with the 'Thanks' button underneath.

And don't turn the ignition on while the airbag is disconnected or else you'll be plagued by the airbag light.

Just for reference I purchased the Sealey AK219 from eBay, cost less than £16 delivered and arrived within 2 days!

Sorry but this is getting painful! Does anyone know the screw type and size for the cowling?

Thanks
