i know this has been covered many times, but.....

i want to fit my cruise control. and i know you need vag-com, which i have never used but my question is can i set up the cruise with the free ware versions or do i need the full version.

you need full vcds and advise you use genuine ross tech cable not a clone

Ok, no but im looking to get a cable and software and that will be one the first jobs i'll do with it. just wasn't sure if i needed to buy the software or if i could do it with the free-ware thats about.

Why not find someone near to you who will help you out ?

VCDS user map on here will show you who is close to your location and prepared to help.
