B6 TDI 130 question

If you own an A4 B6 tdi 130, pref 04 saloon model, could you please lift the bonnet and see if you have a battery that is open or covered?

Since my car went in for a service I am convinced they have lost the battery cover.

The black cover runs over the wiper blade motors and along the top of the engine bay, at the bottom of the front screen.

Audi say it didn't have a battery cover and I'm certain it did.

mines an 01 and it does have the batt cover.

Audi dropped the Battery cover from 2003 onwards, they also dropped the folding cigarete lighter, chrome ashtray and the passenger door lights!

I have a late '04 and it doesn't have a battery cover.
