A4 cab tdi mpg?

I'm new to the forums, so hello to everyone!!

traded my 51 plate s3 last year for an a4 tdi cab, which in the main i am very happy with - but after 6 months my average mpg is only 34, and i do miss the performance of the s3. seriously thinking about swapping for an a3.2q

has anyone else got mpg's for the cab?

I get about 25MPG in my 2.4 cab. This is mainly an average based on motorway miles and normally get about 320 miles to a tank of petrol.

I have read similar posts on other forums and most seem to be getting what you are recording, may be 40MPG at a push, again depends on your journey type.

Are you sure! i get more out of my V6 tdi @ 40mpg, i've also had the 110bhp and that did 55mpg.
