what's the going rate for cambelt, waterpump, service etc. for 1.9tdi

spotted a 1.9tdi, but probably needs a service soon, also cambelt not done and probably best get waterpump done too.

what's the going rate of parts and labour from an indy?

i think when i had a 1.8T VAG engine, cambelt, waterpump from an indy was £300 ish, service and other bits knocking on £500.

cars out of buget as it is, so factoring this is more expense

Shouldn't be any more than about 400. I think Stafford Audi used to do an ebay deal for about 360 with waterpump.

just budgeting and seeing how much to set aside or negotiate, but don't think they will budget much on sticker price
