Ambient Lighting

I've noticed a lot of you folks have this as a mod. I presume this is a couple of LEDs that shine down from the interior light to illuminate the gear lever etc?

Firstly is it a cheap mod and I presume you change the whole interior light unit?

Secondly do you need to wire up anything separately, I presume that the LEDs are fed from the same cable that illuminates the switches.

Thirdly I've seen people mention rear ambient lighting. Is this for the saloon or avant?

hi mate its cheap to do you buy just the LEDs no need to change the hole thing as it has the markings on the back for you to drill out about 10.pounds from audi i think the wiers also have the spaids on them so its plug and play :thumbsup:

8E0 919 063 A is the part number required.

There's lots of thread for fitting the front ones, basically just split the light and pop in the led's. I'll have a look for a guide a bit later if no one else posts it.
