Audi Roadside assistance - for older cars?

I am keen to get some cover for my 7 year old S4 - looked at Audi website and saw that the cover is free for cars up to 3 years old - but couldn't find any prices for extension/older cars. What is the best cover - going via Audi (if they offer it) or via a different provider? Any experiences / tips?

AA rac
both fast i have full family cover
iv been took alover the country and then they drop me at home and pick my car back up to take to garage when iv got it booked in
for the price of full cover with aa rac it wouldnt get you a toe off the motorway

Is one of the two better than the other? From looking at websites they pretty comparable?!?

the AA charge for an accident if you need car recovering

I've been with the RAC for years and they've always performed quite well. I think they're pretty comparable with the AA in fairness, and it tends to be down to personal experience/preference.

I get a discount (25% or so) with the Audi Owners Club which is the reason I'm with them.
