coilovers what the diffrence

can anyone tell me the diffrence between 2wd coilovers and 4wd coilovers on a a4 and a4 cabbie both look the same but when you look it up part number is diffrent coilover kit is spax rsx

Will probably have something to with weight, quattros are heavier at the back with driveshafts/diffs etc, so dampers/springs will need different rates from a car that doesn't have all this weight at the back...

I may be wrong though...

the coilovers i got you can adjust the stiffness so why is it diff part number
