Hi...

my a4 (2003 1.9 tdi) failed its mot today on front radius arm bushes,

Im going to have a go at doing these myself but havent got a clue at the minute so wanted you guys to shed some light,

Ive tryed a search but coudnt seem to bring up anything on radius arms,

thanks

Audis dont have radius arms
they have supension arms
which ones are put down as being gone
there are 2 upper and 2 lower ones .

arhhhhhhhhhh all it says on the mot failiure sheet is that both front radius arm bushes warn,, , mmm thats good knowledge from the mot center

Replace the lot, you can get good kits(not ebay) for about £300 for the lot + fitting, if ones gone the rest's not far away.. do it right, do it once.

normaly i would, but at this time , i just want to get it through the mot with the cheapest possible outlay, how much would a standard set cost to do the lot, is there any "how to's" on the web so i can have a step by step guide ??

cheers

Go back to the testing station and ask them which one they should have really put it down but often they cant be bothered .

Im going to go back there in the morning and ask what ones i need to replace,

cheers for that, i take it its the control arm how to is the one i want
