High Level Brake Light

I have one bulb/led gone in the high level brake light on my 53' avant. Can you change single bulbs or is it a sealed unit and the whole thing needs replacing?

Sealed unit with respect to Audi- one part number, no replaceable parts.
You could of course source all your own leds and replace the lot at a fraction of the cost the the complete unit?
