Castrol Magnatec

Was in my local Asda today and noticed they had a sale on this oil, 4 lts for £16. Not being sure about the stuff but not wanting to miss a bargin at the same time, I thought it wouldn't go a miss so I bought 8lts.

So here's my question is Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 A1 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil ok for my car? Its the 2.0lt petrol 2001 and is serviced every 6 months.

Should be fine with your suggested interval, so long as your not doing 20k in that 6 months.
