Hi... Im having probs with tailgate wiper working intermediatly.... Any idea's ? Have tryed to get interior panel off but to no avail.... the lower panel lifts up so far then clips or sumthing are stopping me removing upper part to gain access to wires..... Help appreciated.. Just spent out £175.00 on new window regulator to be fitted this week on drivers door.....Arrggg...lol Vorsprung.....

Most likely the rear washer pipe has split, and the fluid leaked into the motor and frazzled it.

The rear trim is a pita to remove.

Try this:

yeah the clips are tight, so you need to pull hard, once you remove all the screws!

Mine has been doing exactly the same for a few days it wiped back windscreen about 6 times on starting the car then stopped.It must have dried out now because its now back to normal.
