Fitting a induction/cone filter kit will only give you the induction sound as it has no extra BHP gains. there have been a few threads on this and the outcome of this was that the oem air filter was better then a cone filter.. I think the oem setup can handle up to 300 bhp.
I fitted a Carbonio to mine and there is no difference in performance, however! it does help lift the dv noise imensley on mine and makes the engine sound much sweeter - can't say if it would be the same with the K&N but the Carbonio is one of my favourite mods on mine.
PS. Take a look at my Youtube videos below as you will be able to hear the sound difference - if you have some additinal speakers / sub for your computer this would help as my videos don't have the best sound quality!
