A4 cabrio water leak around boot seal

Help please.
My car leaks water around the rubber boot seal. It seems to track from above and sits around the bottom of the seal and leaks into the interior.
I have used Autoglym rubber protector to try and replenish the elasticity of the trim.
Does anyone have any other ideas to make it more water-tight? A new seal costs and arm and a leg.

Hi mate, not too sure to be honest - do you know what the trim would cost? There are a few people on here that can get OEM parts at good prices
