key fob worry

hi i got my key fob wet lastnight n now it wont work does anyone know which part of the fob needs programing if i buy a new one is it just the key part on the top half or the button part on the bottom half thanks.

it should be in your manual mate
id take the battery out and leave it in some rice to draw any damp out
fit a new battery then resync it
