Just thought i would let you know, just had a major service on my 180,000 mile TDI Quattro.
Bought all the fluids and filters from Opie including a full set of transmission oil for £108, full set of drilled and grooved dics for £109 and new EBC pads for £34.
Luckily i arranged a labour swap with the mechanic, i plaster some of his dining room and he did the service.
Has made such a difference to the car, the fuel filter and oil change have made the engine so much more eager, and the brakes although bedding in are immense. I couldn't justify the cost of the 312mm upgrade and couldn't find any second hand carriers. Just the same with everything new, the brakes are very good and i had the 312 setup on my last car a Leon.
Just waiting for the gearbox oil to be changed now as he couldn't do it. Hoping to see an increase in the MPG as a result.
I now have one very happy car.
Next up dome new software. Performance Torque here i come.... want to get a RR done before hand though.
