B6 A4 OBD, OBD II, CAN BUS???

Hi all

I know this has probably been talked about more than the weather, but even using the search facility i cant seem to find what type of cable i need to plug into my 04' 190 S line Q Avant? is it OBD, OBD II OR CAN BUS? Im not sure and would definitely appreciate any input.

i think ive got vagcom 409 so hopefully with my new found gen i should be sorted, thanks alot all!!

What is it you want to do with the cable mate? If it's just diagnostic codes then vagcom 409 (the free trial version available on the ross-tech website and compatible with el cheapo ebay cables) will do the job. If you want to do more than that you'll want a newer version of vagcom or a handheld unit.
