thanks for the info...car is misfiring but revs not fluctuating,only misfirinf on idle but drives ok?

Defo the breather valve 100% the sure sign is the misfiring (windy feeling) at idle - it always did my head in first thing in the morning, sat on the drive feeling like the car was being battered by the wind!!!

Yeah, good point, worth chaning the Pressure Reg Valve (PRV) as well - it's the black disc like valve at the top/back of the engine, just above the big engine cover. You can get the part number of it.
