Hi again,

My car has suddenly started showing the Brake Pad Warning indication.

All brake pads are Fine. Does this sound like a dodgy connection.

I have the ESP and ABS light coming on for about 2 months, this new pad wear indication has just started happening so I don't think it is connected.

Kwik Fit could not find any problems

If you know your pads are fine and just want to get rid of the wear indicator light, then scotch-clip the two wires together that come out of the front pads... job done ;)

As above :)

OR - it could be a broken wire in the system...

Mine is doing this too with about 5mm of pad left. I have been told by my mechanic mates that nowadays that is about the right amount of pad left for the pad wear sensors to be activated.

Sounds like a bit of a con to me to make me buy new pads before I need them
