Surely for a TDi all you need is a nice set of Powerflow tips on the end?

You can buy tail trim's from jetex, ebay or a power flow/long life exhaust center. When i bought my exhaust from Blue flame they sent me some dirty great big 100mm Jap slash item's at first (crap). They sent the correct item's the next day..

Yes they are. Size 90mm with a slight slash. What i like about the BF exhaust is the tip's can be adjusted in or out. I have seen a few after market exhaust with massive tail trim's sticking so far out of the rear of the bumper's that you almost hit your shins on them..lol

hmm.. ive never fancied using longlife after hearing previous opinions butttt.. if i was too call in there, theyd easily be able to just chop off the standards and weld somthing like your 90mm tips on instead colin? as surely they cant go wrong just doing that! if the tips leak id be shocked haha

gotta be a cheap job too surely!

I've decatted (2 off) my 2.5TDi and welded a pair of 4" Powerflow tailpipes onto the backboxes to line up with the Votex twin exit. Looks the business, and together with a remap and a Pipercross air filter element makes the turbo spool up nice and early and gives me a nice growl from the V6 as the turbo kicks in .

    Here's a few pics:

Big thumbs up for meerkat exhasts .

I know loads of folk who've used them for custom exhausts on Subarus, and can only say that they are top notch to deal with and you'll get great workmanship too.

    Remember the pics afterwards .

I've got a Milltek cat back system en route just now and am getting the downpipes custom done without precats and using a pair of new S8 cats instead (correct diameter for the milltek). And I have to say i'm QUITE EXCITED!!!!

Spot on with that Paul. It messes up the complete exhaust exit valance portion, so I requested about 1/2 inch protrusion on mine .
