Audi A4 tdi PD130 Alternator Removal

I have managed to remove the top bolt on the altyernator but the bottom one i cant take out as the fan is in the way any ideas?

Please help

a now james you could have had a look at the brake pads for me when you was in the manul lol

Does anybody no the mesurment between the holes on the pully as gsf has said they only do the tool in a 32 mm or 36mm and im at work at the moment

Its tool no. 3212.... that would imply 32mm to me.

I doubt pad shape will be listed in Elsawin Simon, but I will have a look at your original thread and see if ETKA can help. I though you had both of those programs though?

Oldie but just wanted to say thanks for the good post, I removed my alternator today but didnt need to take off the fan just undid the two alternator bolts and wedged it off the bracket.

Refitting put a bit of grease on it slid back onto the bracket.
