Black Roof Bars

What cars are compatible?

I have Chromes on my B6 and would like Black ones off the B7, but i wondered are passat roof bars the same?

Anyone in the know?

Dead easy to swap over,just remove grab handles,and air abg pannels,pull roof liner down a little undo the bolts and job done,mine took about a hour to change over.

yes and no, yes you can, but it would leave holes in the roof, so its a body shop job to do it

i toyed with that idea and though id just get a vinyl over the roof to cover the holes up

You'd need to fill the hole first, but could vinyl over the repair to hide it.
Have seen a B5 RS4 with the rails removed - looked ace.

Just about to swap my B5 chrome ones for black ones too...

Mmm yeh, this one too off AZ - I'm not convinced though..... I think the bars give some visual aggression, maybe the RS4's have enough of that to get away with out, but I'm not sure lower models do:

I reckon with the right look the B6 looks ace without roof bars. Some do look rather odd though...
