S4 alternator belt

Has anyone changed an alternator belt on an s4 the v8 version
Or has any advice on changing one
Or even what i would expect to pay to have mine replaced as it went this morning

im going to have to drive the car to the garage tomorrow but im unsure whether the belt drives anything else or not ie water pump or anything that might damage the engine
has any one any idea if the belt drives anything else other that the alternator

This is from Elsawin - Its for a 2003 S4 4.2 but I dont know your engine code, however I cant see them varying hugely. It looks like just the alternator thats driven.
