When I start the car up be it in the morning or evening.....as long as the oil hasn't warmed up or anything I can hear like a continous sqeaking noise whilst ideling.

This appears to be coming from the fan belt/cambelt that is on the left side of the engine bay which is visible.....

As soon as the car is warmed up the noise disappears? Has had a service and what not they didn't mention anything about it being a problem? Maybe they missed it out?

Does anyone else have this problem?

hi mate, my first guess will be auxiliary belt, also known as alternator belt (the one thats not covered and visible), try spray some wd40 on it whilst engine running, this should tighten the belt up for now until you get it changed, it worked for me on my van and fathers car.

hope this helps

Cheers, for this advise mate was thinking of doing this but didn't want to do it incase it corroded the belt maybe?

Anyone else have any ideas?
