S3 Launch Control

Got a 59 plate DSG equiped S3, do I have launch control? If so, how do I do it and is it bad for the clutch????

Of course.

1) Turn ESP Off.
2) Switch gear to either Sport mode or Tiptronic Mode.
3) Let it engage, then use your left foot to hold the brake.
4) Press accelerator until it hits about 3000 RPM. It will hold there.
5) When you're ready to launch, release brake and just hold the accelerator.
6) Enjoy.

I don't personally recommend LC-ing all the time though.

LC is great in DSG - was in my mates remapped GTI DSG and was very impressive!!

It gets more fun trying LC on a slightly/more wet roads!

Wasn't there something about LC being removed from more recent cars? Could have swore I read a post about it here..

6) Stop and pick up gearbox
7) Order new flywheel.
