MOSTLY IN THE MORNINGS I TURN ON MY HEADLIGHTS AND AFTER A WHILE THE CAPTION ON THE DIS SAYS RIGHT LOW BEAM FAILURE. I TURN THE LIGHTS ON AND OFF AND THEY WORK AGAIN. IS THIS A CAR ELECTRIC PROBLEM OR HEADLIGHT ISSUE. ANY IDEAS WELCOME. TA !!

Maybe have it scanned to see what the actual problem is?

It could be the motor on the right side is faulty. This was a common problem on the 8l's. Get it checked out by someone who has vagcom or a dealer.

Thanks, every now and then the left side caption comes on too. not sure whether it seems more sensitive on bumpy roads. only had the car afew weeks but once while parked close to a wall i saw the headlight flicker or flash, then a few seconds later it went off.
