Brake size problem and where to source?

hi guys

my mrs has got a 56 plate A3 Sportback 2.0 Tdi 170 (FWD)

i am struggling to find out what size the front discs are on it?? any ideas?

also where is a good place to get them as they all seem to be quite expensive

i have found that they are 312mm but that seems quite a big disc size for a diesel without 4pots etc

Yeah will be 312mm on yours. Same as mk5 GTI and petrol A3 2.0

perfect , thanks very much mate!!! i have been looking on euro car parts, but none of them listed have the diam down as 312

Yeah i think its only the later cars with the bigger brakes hence not having them listed. THey are identical to the mk5 GTI and everywhere lists them!

If your unsure just pop a wheel off and measure them!
