hello all I have just bought a 2005 v6 sportback with full audi service history, looking back at the service reports the car has continously had an issue with the near side rear tyre wearing on the inside. i have also found that the car has had accidient damage repair at the same wheel and arch. Measurung the rim to arch and compairing it to the "good" side the wheel is sitting 5mm too high and 5mm too far forward. I am guessing this is a result of a poor repair.
Does anyone know can the horizontal and vertical position of the wheel be adjusted through the suspension or by other means? How can i tell which wheel is correct? are ther standard settings available?
