Unregistered S3 S-Tronic SB BE w/exclusive Sprint Blue @ Lincoln Audi

I was in the Lincoln Audi dealership to try a magnetic ride TT 3.2 V6 (unimpressed by the car - other than the exhaust note - or the mag-ride, so £900 saved). They had a new, unregistered, still in it's transport wrapper, Black Edition S3 S-Tronic SB w/Tech Pack and in Sprint Blue (an exclusive colour). No other options, they offered me it for £31,100 (their list price was £32700, so approx 5% off). Price was wrong for me, since I want a bucket of options and the "Exclusive" paint/model combo isn't worth anything to me. But maybe someone out there wants one just like it, available to drive away after dealer checks and polish.

They offered me 3% off the MY11 spec that I really want...

bit tight on the discount you should be able to beat that, try one of the online brookers that supply UK cars from dealers, Broadspeed is a good one I think. If you want to buy from a dealer yourself you can get a price from them and use it to get a better discount.

Tried Broadspeed, as suggested. Sadly they weren't much better. The spec I'm after lists at about 34360 OTR. Dealer offered it for 33329. Broadspeed 33062 (including their fees and delivery). In the past I've seen up to 9% from them, so I wonder if the MY11 has tightened things up a bit. I'm going to try a couple more dealers, along with some other brokers.

In case you're wondering, I'm after: S-Tronic, SB in Sprint Blue + two-tone leather, comfort, Bose, low mobile prep, interior lights, luggage/storage/reversible, adaptive, alu roof-bars (buh-ling, I'm bored of stealth!), folding mirrors. List for the options is £2,800.

A few weeks ago www.motorlogix.com were giving 10% off everything ( new price and all accessories ) - full price for the extra on the road bit, ie road tax, delivery, etc. I could have got just over £3000 off.

Not checked them since a few weeks ago

I got a very good deal from a uk dealer after speaking to them...

try at dealer again towards end of the month. if they're not making their sales targets then they might offer better discounts! it's not always the case, i bought at the start of a month and managed to get around 9% off a reasonably loaded S3 SB

Sprint Blue I think im right in saying is an S3 only exclusive colour but its a very common S3 colour not a specialist one off paint job or anything like that from the Audi exclusive range. An s3 in sprint Blue does look amazing though Just behind Ibis White and Phantom black in my preference order.

Sprint blue isn't "exclusive" its probably one of the most common colours you see the S3 in, mainly because it looks pretty good, but I wouldn't pay extra for it!

Off topic a bit but the build your S3 part of Audi site gives the latest starting/basic price and then lets you add Sat nav and heated seats etc etc which is std stuff now so the final price is way out. Doesn't do them any favours.

As I say, Sprint Blue is not one of the colours an S3 Black Edition can be ordered in, unless you pay the extra for an "Exclusive" colour... it's not worth £1700 to me, but that's how much it would cost to buy.

yeah the BE pack on the S3 isnt all that great because the S3 has the leather/mfsw as standard. I think its just the black grill and grey wheels/tints. £250 for the grille, the wheels are a no cost option and get the tints done locally for £150.
