S-line fogs

Hey guys.

I`m about to retrofit the s-line front to my car and have a quick question

I bought the new fog plugs needed (3D0 941 165A) and while looking through ETKA i discovered this:

3D0 906 732 : Angled Protective Cap and it states use if needed.

Do i actually need this part or can i just stick the new wires in the new fog plugs and go ahead with my install?

Fog plugs? i didnt know that extra plugs were needed. how much are these? i have the sport model and should be fitting the Sline bumper this month.

Yeah mate, the new s-line/s3 fogs require different plugs from the ones we currently have

I payed 7.5 euros for each one (in Greece) + 2 cables 000 979 244. (You need 4 pins but each cable has 1pin on each side, so just get 2 and cut them in half )

I'm not getting the plugs, will just wire them in!

HUH? i thought i needed the plugs... is it something i can wire into direct points at the back of the fog? i mights just wire it up then as i will be fitting HID's into the fogs not too long after
btw does anyone know what bulbs the sline fogs use?

Hmm never thought of that, would it work Sarah? Plugs seem very different also the wires are thicker.

yes it will work, no probs. Others have done it.

Sure, they are : H11 12V-55W
