LED alarm on indicator????

Been looking at the new A3s and Sportbacks which don't appear to have door knobs and hence no flashing red lights in door knobs to indicate alarm is on to would be twockers.

Is there any kind of other visible indication that the car is alarmed - perhaps a flashing LED elsewhere?

Seems a bit of an ommission if not?

If I remember right mate, the LED is at the front of the dash next to the windscreen. Im sure Ive seen it on my car there. Next to the window fan thing. Centre.

Correct me if Im wrong!

Hi cdb2,

Just to illustrate where the LED is, see attached picture. It's above the two central vents, the LED is fairly faint when blipping.
