Does anyone know how you take the gearstick surround and the ashtray out of a a3 sportback , ive posted a few threads on here but no replies and running out of options .. ??? heeellpppp

they jus pull off. There on retaining clips. You have to do the hear surround first i think, just get a flat head screwdriver underneath it and pop it off.

i think you have to to take one side of the console off to take out the ashtray i alaso read a post of astep by step on how to do it

The gearlever surround pulls straight up as it's held by 4 spring clip thingys, when that's removed you'll see 2 screws which hold the ashtray in place
