4 wheel drive oil change

I had a call from Audi Customer Service to day asking me what mileage my S3 had done. I told them 19500 miles. They then informed me that the car needs to go for a 4 wheel drive oil change.
Is this normal pratice seeing that the car had a service in October?
I don't mind seeing that it's covered under my service plan agreement so it already paid for.

If i remember correctly my 3.2 handbook recommends the haldex oil is changed every 40,000 miles...

Yup, every 40k! Already checked with Audi when I got mine. They also said it was £68 to have it changed which sounded cheap.

Haldex gets changed every 40,000 miles as stated above. If your not paying for it though it wouldn`t hurt other then the time and hassle to you.
