Another 'coilovers fitted' thread.. Except it still looks pants! :)

Soo, reason it still looks pants is because it is the first mod I have actually done on the car over standard. I just thought I would chuck some pics up anyway though, as it is a start at least

Fronts are about halfway down, and the rears have 1 - 1.5cm left to go. I need this car to drive nicely and last with the miles I do, so dont want stupid low, went for driveability/comfort mostly. Got rid of the majority of the arch gap even though it still looks quite a lot in the pics. Overall I'm happy

Looks just fine!

However, if you wanted driver comfort, I would have gone for uprated shocks and springs rather than (can be) hard coilovers.

Ah I don't think I would go for shocks and springs again. Had them on a mk2 golf which was my first car a couple of years ago, then I changed my mind and wanted to slam it. Then my mk3 in my sig was down about 100-110 mm and the ride was better plus I could adjust them to how I like

I'm happy with the comfort of these at the moment, plus I haven't decided if I will get 18" or 19" wheels yet, or offsets etc, so will be easier for me to adjust how the car looks in the long run

What coilovers did you go for buddy?

I found my Weitec's to be comfier than my S-Line suspension!

Ye okay it's a little bouncier than before, but the rebound when you hit a pothole isn't like crashing into the back of a bus anymore

I think it looks ok mate,but i would say that mines on standard s-line set up thats why i have the back brace
