So with a 2nd gear grind ever since I bought the car 3 years back, have had 2 gearboxes replaced (due to other problems) and all of them have exhibited the same issue. Problem is that when I adjust the gear shifter by locking the leavers as per procedure, all goes smooth until 2 or 3 days pass, and then the grind comes back, no matter how many times I adjust it.
Shifting is not always bad, the grind happens slightly every 5 or 6 shifts. Oil is new, and linkages have no wear. What could it be?
