About to buy an A£ Sportback, is it a good price?

A friend of mine has a 54 plate A3 Sportback in superb condition, light metalic blue with cream leather interior. Full Audi service history with recent cam belt and water pump change, 29k miles from new. It is the 2.0T DSG 5 door and he wants £8k for it. Book price sugests it is a little over priced but the car is so clean it is unbelievable.
Any comments onthe price would be much apreciated.

Thanks, I've no idea on the model, must ask him but I am pretty much decided on it. Drove it yesterday and loved it.
