Hi Guys, I am going to get my wheels refurbished but am not sure if I should change the color or leave them original. I like the idea of having different colored wheels.

Can you guys please suggest some colors. Here is the car and wheels. The picture is 12 months old so the wheels don't look like that anymore. The lacquer is peeling on 3 of them and the other is badly scuffed.

I was thinking maybe a silver rim and the wheels the same color as the car or maybe in graphite.
Any advice would be great.

Might look ok as your describe but for a standard car I would go standard colours....

I was thinking of keeping them stardard. How do i avoid the issue with the lacquer on polished rim? I am thinking of doing more mods at a later date. The wheels are just bugging me and I want them sorted first Plus anyone know the cost of doing 18" 2 piece wheels? Cheers

Either get teh refurbed and keep better care of them or get em refurbed with no laquer.... You will deffo need to keep ontop of them without laquer but they will look better....

+1 here for standard silver. Personally I'm not a fan of coloured alloys

I like the OEM look. Just thought might be interesting to try something different. Does anyone know a good palce in Essex to the get the wheels done?

How far are Lepsons away from you? Got a mate in Kent who uses them and the quality seems to be good!

Kent is not to far for me maybe 30-45 mins depending where in Kent. I will look them up. Cheers

Edinburgh Audi are refurbing a set of 4 alloys for £220 incl. VAT at the moment. This includes tyres off, sanding, filling, priming, painting and laquering before baking in the oven. All the work is done in the Audi bodyshop and you can choose what colour of finish you want. Do you not have a local Audi dealer that may be offering the same deal?

Not sure I would trust an Audi Dealer to refurb. the wheels....... I would go with a wheel specialist...
