Anyone know how many litres off oil the 1.9 tdi takes?

Whats peoples prefrence on oil? I was thinking about gettin the Castrol Edge turbo diesel 5w-40 oil which meets the correct spec

If it`s a PD engine you must make sure it`s the right spec or you can very quickly wear/damage the cams.

Thats the correct oil for PD130/150/160 engines that get the oil changed every 10,000 miles.

Both engines use around 4.3l of Quantum Platinum 5w40 from the dealers. Well worth changing the oil and filter every 5-6k miles on a diesel
