hello all i av an 53 plate a3 with a bog standered steering wheel i manage to get hold ov an flat bottom one the the radio switches on.Is it possable to put it on my car and make the switches work.Is it hard on a scale 1 to 10
would an auto electrition be able to do this for me
does it av to be the vag
 
Do you also have the Airbag with the FBMFSW? (Flat Bottom Multi Function Steering Wheel... incase you wondered)
you will also need the Steering wheel control module and the correct slip ring
Slip ring: 1K0 959 653 D
Steering ECU: 8P0 953 549 F

Best to have your car checked at Audi to find out what part numbers you have in your car already, but as its a 53 plate i am guessing you will need both above.

fitting it isnt that hard, there are guides here on the forum if you search...
To finish it off you need to code it to your car using VCDS (formally known as Vag-Com)
 
and remember your airbag may not work when you fit the new wheel as it is dual stage and yours is single.
