    Cambelt Change Interval - 2.0TFSI

    Chaps

    The car will be 5yrs old at the end of the year and by that time it will most probably have 50k miles on the clock. Just had a look in the service history book and it states that the cambelt needs changing at 115k miles. Seems a very long to me, i expected it to be 80k miles or 5yrs.

    Does anyone know what mileage or time the belt needs changing?

    I am pretty sure 80k and 5yrs is the normal interval on VAG petrol cars.

    I'm pretty sure it says 5 years or 80k miles in the book, and just had mine done because of its turned a whole 5...
    Hopefully yours wont come out the garage with a several annoying faults like mine has

    No why is that what's happened to yours after t/belt? Mine is probably unrelated just coincidental, unless the N75 was damaged by the mechanic
