8P S3 Haldex Oil Change

Just been told told by a reputable company that the Haldex oil on my S3 does not need changing as it is sealed for life.

Is that right??? I thought it was due to be changed every 40k miles. My car has just passed 30k and I wanted to get it changed as I like to do these things early.

My car is a 57 plate with GEN2 Haldex.

Haldex oil does indeed need changing. Your service schedule will give you further details.

Read on one forum said that Hadlex themselves said no need to change , VW + Audi service schedule says every 40k , just got parts (oil + filter) from VW to do mk5 4 motion tdi.

The Haldex coupling needs oil and filter change at set intervals which should be stated in your Service Schedule! If you don't follow the schedule I hope you're friendly with your bank manager. "Sealed for Life" - CRAP!!!!
