Hey guys,

Where abouts do I need to measure to get the right strut diameter for coilovers please?

Or what would a 2004 2.0 TDI SE be?

Anyone able to quickly tell me, got a healthy discount offer that I can only get this morning and don't know where to measure or what it would be :(
 
Just looked at new shocks on Euro car parts website for my car and says that its 55mm, is this the same across the Diesel A3 range all the way up to the newest shape?
 
Yea damien said that mine will be 55mm, at uni today so haven't been able to measure it!

Does the axle load rating front and back matter or is it generic across the range?
 
Ah nice mate! No idea how it rides, but you can get the ultimate stance, and keep it practical for normal driving :)

I'd love to go for bagyards if i was going to do it, but a lot of money for a car I doubt I will keep for years!
