Door Mirrors

New A3 has arrived, all OK so far except that I have noticed the drivers door mirror is not convex.

I had not even considered that cars would be supplied with flat glass in the drivers mirror. I certainly haven't owned a car with a flat mirror for the last ten years at least.

Is this normal and is there an option to change it that I have missed.

You can buy them from the parts department for around £30 unless you have dipping door mirrors then they cost around £200 each!
