Returning to the S3 Club!

Hi Guys,

Really happy to be returning to the S3 club!

Just put a deposit down on a Dolphin Grey S3 with a decent spec:

2008 model
Heated black leather bucket seats
Sat Nav (RNS-E?)
Adaptive Xenons
Bose
Cruise Control
Light pack
Auto Dimming mirror
Auto Wipers
Flat bottom steering wheel
Bluetooth phone with cradle in the Armrest

I'm sure theres a couple more but cant remember!

Cant wait to pick it up (next weekend probably) and get to know the 8P model inside out!

Sounds like a nice spec mate, what was the tax on that then if you dont mind me asking?
 
Not bad at all for that level of spec tbh.
 
Yeah I've been looking around for a few months now.

I found some for around 18.5K but not with Buckets and Sat Nav.

I'm really exited about picking it up! I've been driving diesels for the last few years, so this will make a nice change!
 
I see you have a ? beside your RNS-E

Do you know which one you have as there are two variations of Audi Satnav - the MMI and RNS-E

The MMI is just a basic, red faced satnav - I have it installed as standard in my S3 but I bought and second hand RNS-E for it instead - much, much better IMO!!

I think it must be the better one.. I'm not sure...

It had a blue screen, don't know if that helps?
 
RNS-E - DVD SAT NAV. Color screen.
BASIC SAT NAV - CD ONLY. No Graphicaly gui. Also the gap is slightly wider between the buttons at the bottom and the screen

Nice choice! Obviously the best colour, and when you get bored of the seats you can trade them for mine and a pack of football stickers!

You will love the buckets trust me :yahoo:

The leather is quite thin and does wear quite quickly though so when getting in and out of the seats do your best to avoid rubbing against the side bolsters.
