Need help with retrofitting bixenons

Hi i've recently retrofitted the ecode for my 07 a3. The headlights work but i don't know how to make the DRL work. Since i got the car with halogen lights my original switch does not have the DRL. However i bought the TT chrome headlight switch and has the DRL but no plugs for it.

Anyone know how i can make this work? probably a part # for the harness that goes in there?
The 2 small wires aren't plugged in, only the headlight wires are in place. since the small wire plugs are already in use.

you may have to run wires parallel with the loom ill check it out tonight after i finish provided you havent gotten an answer by then

What is the module version in vcds module 09 for a start?

You need to wire the drl's in anyway aswell as coding if possible or they wont work properly.

Ideally the central electrics board needs to be a 23byte version F upwards to be able to code the headlights properly.

You will need to also make up the wiring for the headlight switch missing plugs with connectors from audi & repair wires, also you'll need elsawin to know where to wire everything, have you got vcds & elsawin?

What is the headlight switch part number out of interest, assume its the seperate dial drl switch, does it have the ch/lh button aswell, which would be the E versiion headlight switch?

for the DRL wires, something else is already in use in the plug that hooks up into the ECM. So should i try swapping the wires out? or tap it? I don't have a elsawin but i do have a vagcom i can borrow it from a friend.

Originally my car came with no tech pakg, or anything just halogen lights.

The bixenons work fine with now with the coding i had to change from the DIY

this retrofitting DRL seems alot of work!!! :(

Get hold of elsawin just to verify/check what the existing wires are for mate.
