how much would a front lower bumper panel cost to respray (metallic black). more than £500?

I would say no more than £250 from somewhere decent. Just the front bumper?
Where did you get £500 from Audi?

wouldnt think so. lve asked the same in regards to bonnet, bumper and wings. that was 500.

my mates opened up his own place afterworking for a porsche and bmw approved body shop and he charges about £150 for a bumper if its off the car

i usually call 100 quid a panel if its stripped, as a guideline usually not far off that

I wil be getting some quotes shortly for a bonnet re-spray , not only for the stone chips but it looks like a cat has been using my car as a sun deck.
will post quotes.
